History
2006
Salzburg Jet Aviation GmbH (SJA) was founded in Salzburg, Austria and received its operating permit ‘AOC‘ issued by the Austrian authority.
2013
SJA received the permission from Austro Control to carry dangerous goods and has since been transporting isotopes for medical use in cancer treatment.
2015
SJA is partner of Red Bull Air Race. For this purpose, four Extra 300 aircraft by Redbull Air Race were licensed for commercial aerobatics. Making SJA the only operator for commercial aerobatics in Europe.
2018
SJAs fleet comes to a temporary peak with a total of 17 aircrafts. We now operate nine different types of aircraft, ranging from a DA62, Cessna CJ2+ to CJ4, Citation XLS and long-range business jets such as the Challenger 350 or F900.
